Fugue explores the tension between presence and absence, embodiment and dissolution.
Robb places the human form behind translucent material, allowing limbs to pierce the surface while the rest dissolves into ambiguity, as though the body itself is caught in a liminal state. Philosophically, the series plays with the idea of selfhood as fragmented and shifting, never wholly visible or knowable.
Aesthetically, Fugue merges surrealism with sculptural poise, using distortion and selective clarity to draw the viewer into a meditative tension between concealment and revelation.
